Practical account-level controls
Add independent domains within your plan allowance, use domain pointers for aliases, manage SSL certificates and DNS, create mailboxes, download backups, and manage Git repositories. Enable an account Redis instance only when your application needs it.
Login keys are available on all public plans. Give each integration its own expiring, IP-restricted key with only the required commands. Interactive two-step authentication and safe credential storage remain important.
SSH shell access is included on Business and above, not Personal. A Git permission is not the same as shell access. Multiple websites in one account share Unix-account permissions and resources; use separate accounts when you need stronger separation.

Questions before you start
Is a domain name included?
No. Register or keep your domain with your registrar, and point it to your hosting account.
What does the website limit mean?
Personal supports one independent website; Business three; Business Plus five; Business Pro ten. Aliases use domain pointers. All websites in an account share storage, resources, and account permissions.
Are backups included?
You can create and download account backups in DirectAdmin. Provider off-site copies support disaster recovery; they are not a guaranteed customer daily-restore service. Keep your own independent backups.
Can I pay monthly?
Business and above offer monthly billing. The prices highlighted here are monthly equivalents of a full year paid upfront. Checkout shows the actual selected term and renewal amount.
